Issues started with version 6.9 and are consistent with versions 16.10, 16.11 and 16.12. Connecting to outlook exception "Folder INBOX failed to open Exception: Imap server returned an invalid response." and connecting to Yahoo "Imap server returned an invalid response." when calling ListMessages.

Hi,

I'm having some issues adding the "Send File or Folder to FTP via Aspose.Network" action when trying to design a new workflow in Sharepoint Designer 2010. The action is not added to the workflow. 

There is no problem when sending files through FTP using the ribbon in the web browser, but I would like to automate the process.

I am currently running the evaluation edition of Aspose.Email for Sharepoint if that is relevant.

Hi,

Pls find attached our AsposeContactTest class we built so as to test all individual attributes which are NOT populated correctly according to our tests.

Principle is simple and applied for each attribute:

1.      we create a MapiContact,

2.      insert 1 attribute,

3.      save MapiContact on Exchange test,

4.      retrieve contact using ListContacts procedure,

5.      compare attribute between MapiContact created and MapiContact retrieved

 Pls tell us if anything wrong in our tests.

We would appreciate a complete answer on all attributes concerned.

Another problem is incoherence between Contact and MapiContact (could you please fix one of them and let us know which one we should use for all task)

We just upgraded to the latest version of Imap and found that Connect is no more supported. Can you share what is the alternative of this? Any API reference change that we can refer?

Hi,

I am facing an issue when exporting to MHTML. A header is printed on top of exported mhtml which is not required. Has the latest version of API fixed this bug?

I have found that I am unable to create a new MapiRecipient unless I give the method an email address. So the following snippet will throw an error:

MapiRecipientCollection rc = new MapiRecipientCollection();
rc.add("", "Vernon", 1);


My requirement is that I be able to create a recipient exactly as I found it. In this case my source MSG file has a recipient that has no email address. Basically PR_EMAIL_ADDRESS is not present as a Mapi property.

Is there a way for me to create a MapiRecipient without an email address?

Hi,

I am using Aspose to convert email to pdf.

The pdf rendition of the source efl file differs from the original, as you can see in the attached files, the 'To' section of the source file and the target file differs. Can you suggest something to keep the source and the target similar.

Hi,

Is there any way we can list only those messages from PST that have attachments? We dont want to extract each message and then check if it has attachments or not. This will consume lot of our application time.

Hi,

We are creating an EML from MSG file like this:

MapiMessage mapiMsg = MapiMessage.FromMailMessage("Email.msg");

mapiMsg.SetMessageFlags(MapiMessageFlags.MSGFLAG_UNSENT | MapiMessageFlags.MSGFLAG_FROMME);

mapiMsg.Save("MsgOutput.Msg");

MailMessage msg = MailMessage.load("MsgOutput.msg", new MsgLoadOptions());

msg.Save("MapiEml.eml",SaveOptions.DefaultEml);

Email.msg is just a simple message which is in read only mode. The problem is that wen we open it in Outlook for Mac, it is still shown as Sent instead of Draft mode. Is there any work around for this?

Hi,

We are looking for an efficient way to get subject, sent date, and sender information of every message from a PST file. What we are currently doing is open the PST file using the API, extract each message file, get required information and store it for our reference. It works but overall process seems to be slow. Is there any way we can speed up things?

Hi,

We are processing emails from POP3 server and keeping meta data about it. However, we would like to minimize this meta data storage at our end. What we want to know is that what minimum possible information should we store so as to be able to retrieve email information later from the server? Do you think storing Pop3MessageInfo information will be a good choice to reduce data storage at our end? We have no limitations on bandwidth though.

I am trying to check the email component ..

I first add L: Aspose.Email.dll  to my project.. then write sample code to verify email ..

Error message appears after run the app:

"The mail address is invalid,return code is : MailServerValidationError."

Is there any setting need to be changed somewhere ..??

Hi Support,

While sending email with attachment of size 12mb, i faced "The operation 'DATA' has timed out. Timeout '100000' has been reached." problem
I used latest version of Aspose.Email.dll, v16.12.0.0.

Please suggest me how to fix this problem. Please update me ASAP.
